Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Walkies? No thanks…

Wet this morning. Archie refused to go out first thing with JR, in the dark and wet, and he took a bit of persuading to venture out mid morning with me, and it wasn't even raining then!

JR has selected her summer wardrobe!! It's going to be HOT in the East Coast of Australia, but they've been in the headlines several times lately - droughts, floods, heatwaves... probably forest fires later. It’s a tough climate.  But on checking today, Sydney was in the mid 20s. You really just take your chances.

I spent quite some time going through the travel itinerary and making sure I have flight times and plane numbers correctly in the diary. But that was as far as I got - Hazel came over in the afternoon for a visit and a debrief of her wonderful Christmas with the visit of her London living son. It was super - they fitted a lot in, including a beach walk with Hamish the dog on our sunny Boxing Day.

Back to two gym sessions tomorrow for JR. Her sore arm has healed. And now that Christmas is over, thoughts must turn to our next adventure - just over a week away.
