Wooluff in the snow (Day 3174)

More snow overnight made the morning wander with Sigyn a bit more taxing for me, not that she seemed to mind.
Back home my beautiful wife got ourselves wrapped up in a billion layers and ventured across to Stromness to do hoss stuff. I was really impressed with our truck which got us through all the snow drifts to our old grazing field. We filled a load of hay nets then slithered along to the horses and distributed hay. The water supply to the field is frozen so we collected containers and headed to Mum and Dad's to fill them. Nice to see the folks and check to see if they needed anything, there was no chance they would get their car anywhere. Back to the horses and we filled the trough before making our way back home.
HV got herself organised for an overnight at work while I took Sigyn out again. The snow was more than knee deep in places, making the walk a fairly good workout.
Back home for lunch with HV before she slithered off in the truck for her overnight shift.
I'm very glad I shelved work plans today. I would have got horribly stuck or gone off the road somewhere. The van is absolutely useless in the snow.
Extra shot added of the truck doing its job - getting horse stuff where it needs to be. It isn't misty, that's snow blowing around, looking for somewhere to pile up into a big drift...
