Home again!

It was a frosty morning when I awoke,  but within  three hours the  temperature had risen and I didn't  need to de-ice the car, when I came to depart. 
After emptying a  second fridge of its assorted contents, in two days, and  doing  some cleaning in my Mum's house, I  was ready to leave.
Fortunately, I had a smooth journey. This evening, Martin made us aubergine parmigiana, which  was a very nice, welcome home,  meal. We raised a glass of red wine to my late Aunty, who liked Italy, including its food, very much.
