Country Park

Wednesday started with BP and conversation with tanned guy who has been absent for a while.  When I asked where he got his tan, his reply was, 'I hate December so have been in the Maldives, Sri Lanka and the Andaman Islands for a month'..............nice work if you can get it?!

Back home for a shower and to contemplate the rest of the day.  Tea with F and the girls had been cancelled as she had to take her Mother for an eye appointment and was looking after grandson as her daughter was unwell.  I think it is called the Sandwich Generation?  OH and No.1 were having a walk at the country park and I was going to stay at home but No.1 persuaded me to go.  Lovely park - shame about the noise of the motorway drowning out the bird song.  We did a couple of laps then home where OH had prepped and cooked a delicious Coq au Vin - (after words last week about not cooking?).
