Pussy Willows

It's only when you get quite close that these pussy willows are a beautiful pink.

I ventured further from home today heading to east Ayrshire and Dumfries House Estate. First stop the cafe for coffee and a lovely piece of shortbread.

The arboretum and Walled garden are so well looked after with preparations well underway for the display of spring flowers and shrubs. Not a weed to be seen in the garden.

The expected rain didn't fall and the temp reached a balmy 14°
