Vet Visit
Drizzle this morning, so I didn't take Archie out, though he'd been out with JR first thing. She went to two gym sessions, as per...
I then decided to sort out the photo albums. There are dozens of 'em, and they just take up room in the cupboard. They're never looked at. And so, I set to, getting rid of them. Actually, I thought I had some photos of a party many moons ago, but no. I have no need of dozens of old photos of rape fields, white sandy beaches, people - some of them no longer with us - and a reminder that yes, we were all young at one point. I was quite slim, and JR was - shall we say - carrying some extra weight. JR has improved with age, but I've gone downhill in a big way! Good job done. And more room in the cupboard for more STUFF.
In the afternoon we took Archie to the vet. A very nice young woman examined his wee sore, which is still there, but not troubling him, and not any bigger. Our options are: leave it, but monitor it; or take a few samples, which involve just a needle - no anaesthetic (about £200); or cut it out, full anaesthetic (£700)... We're going to leave it, and monitor it - she says most people do. If it's not bothering him, and it's not getting worse, let's just ignore it!
Later we popped over to see Hazel to discuss our upcoming trip to Seville. (Check out the Spanish themed nibbles, Extra). She is taking her job as tour leader/organiser very seriously, and has done such a lot of research. She has even planned out our five days with a tentative timetable, which has already been revised after discussions.
Good work H!
