Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

It was mentioned that Archie's football shirt looks a bit tight on him. I checked it, and yes, it's snug. But not too tight. Trixie's mum said she had a couple of tee shirts she was throwing out, and she would drop them in to us, which she did (posted through the letter box). They are very nice tee shirts, but they are too big for him, and would fit quite a big child. We'll pop them in to the charity shop, but thanks Anne, it was kind of you.

Elizabeth came to take Archie out today instead of her usual Saturday. JR and I were mulling over holiday possiblities in July, but getting nowhere, so we decided to go out for a stroll in the sunshine instead. We stopped for a coffee (no cake) in Toast before heading on round a few blocks. Though it's weird being out for a walk without Archie... We got back just before the sunny afternoon changed to a wet one.

JR went off to the supermarket for a few vitals, and picked up a 2/3 year old child's tee shirt, which looks like it will fit him. The wee lump isn't going away. And he licks it when he's free of restrictions, so we're going to have to decide what to do about it soon. Even though he’s quite used to wearing it now,, he can't go on wearing a tee shirt for ever...

Can he??
