Rain over Hoy (Day 3306)

Off out to the house refurb in Evie first thing this morning where the plan was to get the bath fitted, and maybe fit a shower. The bath is the original cast iron one which has been re-enamelled, and is ridiculously heavy. While moving it around to check where supply and waste pipes needed to be, one of the cast iron legs snapped. After a fairly major dose of swearing, I finished off getting the pipework in place and fitted the shower.
I cleared up and headed off to a local blacksmith and left the leg for him to repair. He reckons it will be an easy job.
Next on the list a visit to a potential customer to look at doing a bathroom re-furb. It turned out that the house is brand new and looks like it just hasn't been finished. It seems that the design brief was for an "industrial" look with exposed pipework on top of painted block walls. It is probably a reasonable idea in principle, but it falls a bit short. There is no wall covering round the bath, and no bath panel below the bath and the customer would like that sorted out.
I had a quick catch up with my beautiful wife at the horses and zoomed off as it threatened to rain. It seems HV can catch Jeeps without any major difficulty.
