Pancake place
There's a river beside us and we didn't realise there were loads of little cafes alongside. Mr S and No 3 were out exploring and discovered a little gem. Lunch was delicious pancakes with cheese and spinach and we were given bread to lean over the railings and feed the turtles and fish.
Worth mentioning the Turkish Tea. Served in little glass bowl cups ... Slightly fragrant...serve golden in colour and very refreshing with some sugar added.
Big girls tried out the pedallo (about £3 for an hour) but they had to negotiate all the river boats taking tourists up to the beaches and mud pools. It as deliciously cool at the cafe...the family also run apartments that we will check out for a future stay.
Dips in the pool for the hot weegies before we headed off to find a bar showing the tennis.
We ended up at the bar where I sang with 'elvis' - surprisingly they remembered us (cant think why!) and our drink orders and even ordered out food for us from a nearby restaurant.
An exciting game and finally after years of waiting...a great result for Britain. (Ok Scotland....! But I am being kind).
Back home for a few hands of cards before bed.
