Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

I was invited for morning tea today - one of JR’s gym buddies. It was not very far, but I got held up with a Pip visit for a half hour, so luckily it was on a bus route. And what a nice visit it was! Fiona’s house was full of fabulous art work. And she served the biggest cinnamon buns ever! And the bus was just arriving to take us home again. I love that.

It was a breezy day, sunshine one minute, showers the next. JR took Archie a big walk to Midmar Paddock, in the afternoon, while I relaxed and listened to the D Day recordings, and then ‘The Mushroom Cook’ trial in Australia, in which three family members died after a Sunday lunch which involved poisonous mushrooms. Fascinating.

Don’t think I’ll bother watching the leaders’ debate tonight. And I totally gave up on Netflix’s ERIC last night - absolute rubbish! JR hung on till the end.

I made the bin find that I’ve been looking for! I didn’t have Archie with me, but a photo will follow soon.

Pip visited again in the afternoon. These two, while sort of pals, never get too near each other, but look! Their paws are touching!!
