Potfest!

JR went to her local gym session (can’t miss a day!) before we set off for our day out. Dropped Archie round at Abi’s, collected Abi’s mum and set off north.

We were heading to Scone Palace, for the (apparently annual) Potfest. Potters from all over the country bring their wares to these events which are held in various places all over the UK. I was under the impression that the ticket price included entry to the palace, but no… But we did see the Stone of Scone. And lots of noisy peacocks.

Anyway, we had a super day, such a variety of ‘pots’. There was also a tent where you could do your own raku firing! But we resisted a purchase. Jane sought, and bought, a mug.

We had rain and black clouds on the way up, but our day was dry and even sunny. So it’s a lovely evening for Taylor Swift’s first (of three) concerts.
