Over the back

Bedding changed, washed, dried and in the airing cupboard.

After the chores I nipped over the back looking for butterflies.  A few ringlets about, the odd damselfly and the thistles are just starting to flower.  The orchids and buttercups are still doing well and there are lots and lots of blackberry flowers.

On my way back I noticed this caterpillar underneath a leaf and in bright sunshine.  I’ve managed to bring out a bit of detail of what is a tussock moth caterpillar.

Another old person saying I could adopt is “mustn’t grumble” or “can’t complain”.  Other suggestions welcome.
