Peonies

The peonies have started to bloom. Right now I have 6 varieties in bloom and a few more to come. I hope they survive this heat wave.

We are going to work a shorter day tomorrow and hopefully avoid the afternoon heat. Thursday, which is supposed to be the hottest day is going to be a problem. I think we will try to start earlier. Mulch is being delivered, and I hope it will be there early in the morning. Friday will be an earlier start too
