Our Day
I got up to take my meds and saw a field of deer, young and old. They were too far away to capture with my phone. Once I got downstairs, I saw that we had a deep fog all around the area. The birds and bees were enjoying their breakfast. I sat at my sister’s breakfast table and was mesmerized with the hummers. We have at least five who flit from feeder to blooms. They love these red blooms. I took tons of photos. It was hard to decide which ones to include. Once my sister got up, she saw the deer had come closer to the house. Among the group was a young fawn and spike buck. They cooperated for photos. Again, so many good shots, choosing my fav was hard. If you are patient, they will eventually give you a shot. We rode the ATVs to the creek looking for sea glass. This powdered dancer sat still long enough for me to snap a pic. On the way home, one of the neighbor’s cows had escaped outside the fence. I guess she was displaying her wild side. What a fun day we’ve had, enjoying nature at its best. Hope your day included some glimpses of our fantastic world of wildlife. Stay safe.
