HOT! (Yes he did get a wee bit…)

Sunshine today! We all took a dander round the ‘Hood. I had need of an ice cream. And the road works right outside the ice cream shop were silent today, so beckoned us to sit down.

Dan wandered by,  he’s the friend who always catches us eating ice cream or drinking wine. He was heading to the pub for a beer, having got fed up painting his fence.  

We walked on a bit more, and had a look in at a new restaurant- they’re just renovating and painting now. Good luck to them, running a restaurant. Been there, done that.

Further round and we came to the very classy Argyle Place cafe/restaurant. We went in for a coffee and shared a big yummy bun. JR also got the last slice of something irresistible to take home.

It was hot. Archie was pleased to come back home. So was I, but JR took him out again later while I watched the Olympics: Women’s Sevens, gymnastics, badminton, archery, canoe slalom, cross country horse riding, hockey, judo. All exciting to watch!

Be even better when I can see properly…
