Gannets and Grey Seals
We spread our journey home across several days, heading down the Yorkshire coast. We saw the 'drinking dinosaur' rock formation at Flamborough Head (after a trip up the lighthouse), as well as grey seals on the distant rocks (see Extras). We also enjoyed a long walk along Bempton Cliffs nearby, to watch the millions of sea birds. Too late in the season for puffins, but we saw loads of gannets (Morus bassanus) that are always fascinating to watch - my main blip.
This is another back-blip as I catch up now we're home.
