Rabble’s getting a makeover!

I have been awake in agony since 5am this morning and it’s now approaching midnight, spoke to my GP this morning as I had a pain management review appointment in the diary.

I had been told it was a face to face appointment but I had a gut feeling there had been some error and rang to confirm if it was face to face or telephone. I was told it was a telephone one so glad I checked given I have had zero energy all day. I am having a face to face review appointment in a fortnight.

I’m in absolute agony, it’s hard to describe the intensity of the chronic pain and the painsomnia I have really impacts me. I must have been overdoing things.

I haven’t managed to do my Duolingo music or Ukrainian today so will use a streak freeze.

I went into town to collect meds and spotted today’s Blip. Rabbie Burns’ statue is getting a makeover. It was around 21 degrees here today and much as my pain hates the rain, extremes of temperature do contribute to fibro flares.

It was lovely to see clear blue skies…a rarity!

Feeling very grateful for my friends today who have kept my spirits up via texts and messages.

I managed to get some sleep early evening, I tried this afternoon but couldn’t sleep at all despite being absolutely shattered.

I’m hoping tomorrow is a better day and tonight brings me better quality sleep.

Thanks to everyone who donated to my my July challenge paced walking fundraiser in aid of breast cancer research.

I was really cheering to reach £155 of my £150 fundraising target. You’re all amazing:)

I appreciate all of the kind words of support too.

I’m going to take a couple of months rest from fundraising and see how I am feeling as I have a lot of health appointments, life commitments and life changes planned for the upcoming months.

Another health appointment tomorrow. I will get there. I need to catch up with journals tomorrow, I am woefully behind.
