Stormy Weather

I slept in after waking up too early and reading myself back to sleep. Sounds like a scratched record, huh? We had meds at the pharmacy and needed some basic groceries. Hubby went to the base after dropping me at the grocery store. He worried he might set off alarms since he is slightly “radioactive” after yesterday’s test but he didn’t. We wanted to see how the impending storm is affecting the rising tides; stopped at a waterside area to check it out. So far, so good. Only the first outer bands of Debby have reached us. We had rain last night and this morning. More, heavier rain and higher winds are expected later this evening into tomorrow. I think it will be a mild storm. Folks in the south were hammered though. Hubby picked up a bottle of bourbon for Jamie so we dropped it off. He has some really nice flower planters this year so I grabbed a few pics. Then we came home and made lunch. Dinner will be easy so we’ll have another quiet evening. Hope yours is as well. Maybe I will catch up with your journals. Stay safe.
