Making Memories

Memories is the MonoMonday challenge, and this seemed to fit.

Lovely, relaxed waking up and breakfast in our accomodation in Novés, Spain, and Marina showing us the tunnels she and her family discovered while digging for a swimming pool, and then dug out by hand (the digger driver said he hadn't chosen to die that way), 8 metres down and a steady 15C all year round - she does wine tastings down there now.

Then a long, 40C drive across a desert-like Spain, home after 4pm, then out again after 6pm, for another hour's drive (thankfully, by Cecílio) to Padre Luís's birthday in Viana do Alentejo. Got back home again about 1am, which is why this is being blipped today, Tuesday.

Gratefuls:
- getting safely home (at one point, our oil light came on, but sorted by adding more oil)
- making it to Luís's party, and renewing friendships with the Amigos group
- my own bed in a blessedly cool house
