Northern Ireland
Left Dublin at 6.30am to avoid the traffic on M50 and it was a great idea. In 3 hours I arrived in Rosses Point, Co.Sligo for a swim in the slightly choppy Atlantic.
Seaweed bath in Strandhill.
Then turned inland heading for Enniskillen. The scenery is quite beautiful in Yeats Country travelling by Ben Bulben (and the Dartry Mountains) passing Glencar Waterfall on some very windy roads.
Stopped in Belcoo to visit St. Patrick’s Holy Well (and said a special prayer that Freespiral’s wee car gets fixed soon); such a peaceful place and it did wonders for my nervous disorders and stomach ailments (see extra). :)
Finally arriving in Blaney Caravan Park on the banks of Lough Erne. And staying in these darling Shepherd’s Huts. See extras.
Delighted to be in Norn Iron. It is a special place.
You will all agree these wee huts are braw and very comfy.
Despite forecasts, the weather has been quite ok all day. I hope you will take a look at extras
