The Project Begins

We had a glorious sleep in (except for hubby, always up no later than 6). My sister and I enjoyed breakfast on the front porch with Sugar and the hummers. The crew began the deck project by removing some boards and staining others. I had Sugar duty so we lounged on the front porch with my kindle. The others worked until time for lunch. I cleaned the kitchen, prepared the meat for burgers and vegetables for slaw and got ready for Mass. We have to pick up fresh rolls after Mass, then head home. Our BIL will grill, my sister will prepare the other vegetables. Then we will all enjoy the comfortable weather outside this evening. Wishing you the same. Stay safe.
