Birthday Break

We took off today to enjoy our Sunday and hubby’s actual birthday. We sat around most of the day saving the world with our philosophy. No need to cook or clean and only minimal dishes’ mess. The temps are gradually getting warmer and will be uncomfortable for the rest of the week. We came to town to pick up lumber needed to finish shoring up the deck. Hubby picked going to “Pickles” for his birthday dinner. Their wings, salads and fries are delish and plentiful. Then we headed here (Oglebay Park) to listen to some fun Bluegrass tunes. This venue offers free concerts every weekend during the summer. My sister thinks we should move here permanently; there’s so much for us old folks to do and see. But we’d never leave our mother or my children/grands and neither would my sister. But it’s fun to have a a choice when there is something special happening up here. Sure hope you have loads of choices on how to spend your days. Life is so short. Stay safe though. Thanks for dropping by. “If wrinkles must be written upon our brows, let them not be written upon the heart. The spirit should never grow old.” – James A. Garfield
