Walk

OH drove to pick up No.1 and had a much better journey.  She had enjoyed a great evening and all my worries were for naught!  I did a bit of tidying up and then yet another food shop.  Home to put washing on the line and catch up on some paperwork and emails.

OH got back around 2.00 and he watched the grand prix and No.1 and I chatted a bit and then she had a sleep.  She woke up energised around 6.00 and before I could say 'dinner' she had her leggings on and suggested a walk?!  I turned the oven off and we did a quick circular walk through the fields scrumping a few pears on our way.  Home for a delicious dinner (new recipe with salmon and leeks and mustard with crushed new potatoes on top - this will become a firm favourite!).  One episode of Race across the World and the day was done.
