An Irish impressionist: Lavery on location
I have been here, there, and everywhere today:
1. To the podiatrist to confirm that all is well with the new orthotics to support my hyper-mobile feet
2. To campus to have my laptop updated
3. To Loudons to use the voucher that we won at the raffle on 1st December last year
4. To the National Gallery of Scotland to look at Vermeer's A young woman standing at a virginal, currently on loan from the National Gallery in London
5. To the Royal Scottish Academy to visit An Irish impressionist: Lavery on location - my blip shows Mr hazelh examining The first wounded, my favourite picture in the exhibition
6. To various shops to make small purchases - including stamps, birthday cards and moth balls, to return a dress, and for an unsuccessful hunt for a long-sleeved navy blue linen shirt
Back home once more, with Mr hazelh I watched last night's episode of Race across the world. Then I brewed some more soup (tomato, pepper and basil), did a little bit of advance catering for the weekend, prepared supper, and made my nightly call to Mummy hazelh (still at my middle sister's house).
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; walking (24,099 steps).
