Rare Bird

I've been looking for a colorful bird for a long, long time. I had no idea that when I found one it would be wearing purple tennis shoes.

This avian oddity just struck me funny. The information card that came along with him says "Birds in shoes and boots. Why? Because it made me smile and sometimes we just need that". It was signed by the artist, Steven McGovney. It made me smile too, so thanks Steven.
