County exhibition
Windsor hosts the Hants Co Exhibition, it is the longest running exhibition in Nova Scotia. I haven't been to any of the exhibitions in several years. This year I decided I wanted to go to one but couldn't work my schedule around some of the other ones. The weather cooperated for the weekend, it was sunny and 20 C this afternoon. The Garlic Festival was also happening in Windsor this afternoon but I didn't stop at that. I heard that it was packed with people too.
My main blip for today is some painted pumpkins that were on display, I believe they had been done by one of the 4 H clubs. The extra is a couple of Jersey heifers. These 2 are from different farms and had never seen each other before this weekend. They seem to have bonded.
I did see one of my cousins at the exhibition. We keep telling each other that we need to get together but it never seems to happen. Her and I never knew each other growing up because Dad never went to visit most of his brothers. Thru FB and other cousins we started chatting. We found out that it is a small world. My cousin is married to a guy that I went to school with and they now live 2 houses down the street from where I used to live in Windsor.
Going to bed early tonight. I didn't sleep well last night and I've had a busy day today. The truck is partly unloaded, I still have to climb up and get the shrubs off the back. I will do that in the morning. There is one larger shrub that I will drop off at the customer's house in the morning.
