Paint The Town Red
Or in this case St Michaels Mount.
Today was the 80th Anniversary of Operation Market Garden, better known as “A Bridge Too Far” and the Cornwall Military Veterans assembled to support the Parachute Regimental Association commemorations.
A moving service conducted by the Padre of RNAS Culdrose and great accounts of the battle retold by the descendants of those who fought there.
Part of the tribute was to illuminate the Mount maroon at sunset, it looked better than my photo.
If you can please take a moment to look at the wreath tribute from the Veterans, made from scallop shells, I think it looks fantastic.
This all happened after my first day of the Royal Horticultural Society Leve 1 course out at Vounder Farm inside the Eden project.
It’s a ‘proper’ course, I came away with homework!
