After the Stormy Weather

After the stormy weather at the weekend there were piles of kelp on the shoreline at Wembury Point in South Devon. Some strands were still attached to the stones which anchored them to the seabed. More pictures today in the extras. The first shows some of the leather-like kelp. The second two show some rather battered-looking ragwort on the coast path and a thick clump of ivy growing on the cliff top. The final extra is a slightly odd landscape with an accumulation of debris at the top of the high water line.
