The sea of Kalimeris

It has taken over most of this part of the garden so I will be removing some next year and donating them to others to enjoy.. the problem with having so many is that other plants get swamped and so the rest of the summer is just the leaves of this plant which doesn't start flowering till mid September.
Waved farewell to my sister after breakfast and the chinese laundry c/o my daughter continued. We have made a pact.. her gratitude for me putting up with her laundry days will be paid back by helping me reconnect with my unfinished quilting projects.. a mid week session over a couple of days to revisit and reinterpret the long bagged projects.. I am thrilled and excited
