A Lovely Place

This was my first school - Castle Hill Primary School, Todmorden where I attended 1947-1953. I quite liked school and this building holds many pleasant memories for me.
Unfortunately it has been declared to be in a poor state of repair and is no longer "fit for purpose". It is going to be demolished and a replacement school built on the same site.
My extra shows the 'building' that will replace it.  Even if the old one is in the poor state they say it is (it looks ok to me), have the architects no more imagination than to replace a building of character with three boxes glued together?  Permission has been granted and demolition will start soon.  I am so very, very sad  :-(
