More Lantana

Jamie has array of lantana colors in pots on his patio. They make me smile every time I pass them. Fall is their best season for blooming. You may see others later in the week. I awoke around 4:00 am; was afraid Parker would not hear his alarm. I finally called for him around 6:00 and he was almost ready. He should have gotten to school early but I notice he and his friend stopped at McDonald’s on the way. That boy. It sounds like Abi had quite a 21st birthday celebration. I included a pic that Jamie sent as an extra just to remember their day. Hubby took our trash and recycling to the convenience center and grabbed a few groceries. I met him at home. It is windy today (a cold front is on the way) so I chose to stay inside. There were a few jobs I wanted to complete. One of our cabinet shelves had fallen. We emptied the cabinet, washed the area and put all my cake and cupcake containers back in neatly. Recycled three unneeded baskets. I made sausage and ham for breakfasts later in the week. Hubby bought a rotisserie chicken. I made rice and broccoli to go with it. Tomorrow I will make chicken salad with the leftover bird. Parker had a half day of school so I came back to his house to go over his schedule. He will be at work until 9:00 and then go to the gym. Yesterday, he was able to lift two 75 lb hand weights. I have no idea about such stuff but he was happy. I believe it will be Kindle time after a brief nap. I also plan to catch up with your journals. Sending my blip early, just in case…. Have a calming evening. Stay safe. Thanks for visiting. “What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. These are but trifles, to be sure; but scattered along life’s pathway, the good they do is inconceivable.” – Joseph Addison
