More lovely sunshine

Such a lovely day! In the morning I walked up to the top of the main road to get my flu jab. Then right back down to the bottom to pick up a parcel from the post office - a gift of a magnifying glass for my soon to be 4 year old friend who is interested in bugs and trees:) Then I came halfway up again, because that where I live… there’s an echo of a nursery rhyme there somewhere.
Saw so many lovely things growing as I walked, here’s 4. All in neighbours’ front gardens except the verbena bonariensis which is on some waste ground near the post office. 
In the afternoon, I tried to fix my printer which was frustrating, and I failed. I will have to buy a new one - the simplest black and white one I can get. This one must be over 15 years old so I guess that’s not too bad. 
In the evening the Friday film was My Favourite Cake.  A gentle Iranian film about old age and making the most of things. Critical of the morality police, the directors are in trouble. They weren’t allowed to go to the Berlin Film Festival, where it won a prize. It’s absolutely superb and I really recommend you watch it.
