Red Dunes

The day began early with me taking a cup of tea in for G except she said she had to be fasting for four hours before her scheduled MRI. Argh!

We got to the clinic well before the appointed time only to discover that someone had dropped the ball and G's appointment hadn't been logged. They wanted her to drive to another clinic but by this stage, she had lost confidence in this establishment, so we checked out the Artisan Bakers, a business we drive past on the way to Al Seef. We finally got to check them out today. They make incredible cakes and sourdough bread.

Having not been out of the city for weeks, we headed North to RAK. I had a few things I wanted to do so we weren't out long, just enough time to visit the Cellars. G took both the pictures that I've used today. The extra showing a digger at work on top of the dunes is worrying. I hate to think what's going on there. Only one of the three things on my list was achieved. I have caught up with my blips since 26th October. Phew.
