Cat on a Cold Garage Roof..

..much to Leo’s ire.
If only he could suffer
in silence.. but no :-/

A bit low key today, it’s been very cold. The traffic was awful and so foggy getting Ben to school. We had a social care meeting where they confirmed there is no new plan for respite but school consultations are now going out for next year and although we’ve had a lot of ‘no’s we’ve had one asking for more info, so that’s a minor glint of light, hopefully more to come. I walked Leo but managed to lose an AirPod so I spent a huge amount of time covering old ground searching but I was over grass and leaves so I had no joy. Leo had an hour and a half walk out of the situation though :-/ Then I finished up some photo calendars for Christmas presents and went to fetch Ben, I got called mid way there to say they were still at swimming as he’d refused to get dressed and was lashing out in the changing rooms and could I come and pick him up from there :-( I was really anxious on the way as of course I’ll try but I’m very aware I don’t have the magic answer to make him calm down. Fortunately when I arrived he had settled down so I didn’t have to do anything other than scoop him up (not literally.. he’s 6 foot and 13 stone!!) Things have been pretty calm at home since and now we’re going to play some monopoly. Is it really only Wednesday!!??
