Rain at the Copa
The weather has turned and it was rain forecast.
It was drizzling and I went for a beach walk at 8 am anyway.
Drizzle is not a problem.
When I was almost at the Ipanema end of the beach the drizzle turned to it pouring down!!
I turned around right away - camera in my bag and walked half an hour back while it was bucketing down on me.
I looked like a drowned cat when I arrived back at the Hotel!
Just in time to meet Sarah and Gordon in the lobby who were heading off to Niteroi.
I had a shower and a breakfast - that I didn’t need - then I fought with the internet that was temperamental.
I did not get my email finished for Heather before I called an Uber to get to Niteroi and meet the team at a restaurant at their lunch break.
I spent the afternoon at the University trying to get some decent photos in a very dark room with speakers who were always facing in the dark.
It was a few hours before the training was finished and we headed back to the hotel.
Dinner was this time at the other restaurant were you got an all you can eat buffet of great value.
I again ate too much and we had 2 bottles of wine as well.
Fell to bed right after.
