The obligatory snow photograph

I woke up to the first snow of the winter this morning.
We had glorious winter wonderland snow all morning, but unfortunately I had daily drudgery to do and by the time I had an opportunity to get out with my camera, the snow was already melting.
I liked the contrast of the dried fern with the melting snow.
