St Margaret's Church (Marble Church)

MOINDAY

Thank you for all the kind comments, hearts and stars on yesterday's Blip.

Today was a cold and wet day and a complete contrast to last week with temperatures around 7º as opposed to yesterday's balmy 15º C.

An early start to take Prue to the hospital for an appointment. I had a quick look around the nearby  St Margaret's Church and then settled into one of the comfy seats at Costa Coffee, but before I could even sip my cappuccino the phone rang because the patient was ready for collection. In and out of the hospital having seen the consultant in less than 15 minutes.

Then over to Halfords to pick up a new tyre inflator as my old one packed in at the weekend and an hour at The Tweed Mill for a bit of Christmas shopping and another cafe stop.

The Gothic church in Bodelwyddan is visible from home thanks to its 202-foot spire. Built between 1856 and 1860 the church features 14 types of marble, intricate woodwork, and stained-glass windows of Saint Margaret and Saint Kentigern. It was listed as Grade II* in 1962.
