Thursday: Sunset … and Flood

Very heavy rain until late afternoon. MrD went to the library and for a few groceries. I ventured to the garden to pull up a few leeks, then made a large pan of leek and potato soup - had some for lunch but there will be plenty for more meals and some for freezing.

Very lazy afternoon of watching more episode of “Sherlock”, ventured outside when the rain eased but it soon started again :-( 

EXTRA of the rain water which had collected behind the garage, we’ve never seen so much water here …
