Candle for Aimee

My friend F is visiting the Christmas market in Vienna and sent me a picture of a candle which she had lit in the Cathedral for Aimee.  Lovely gesture xx

My day started with two hours gardening, cutting back some of the dead growth.  I can only really manage a few hours gardening now as my old bones and joints start complaining.

I came in for a shower and porridge and then did some bits on the computer.  OH home from golf and visited MIL this afternoon and I had a quick trip to collect the Order of Service then a visit to the flower warehouse.  I wasn't going to bother with door wreath but have done one for the last 10 years or so and could hear Aimee saying - 'Go on Mum, get your bum into gear and make one!'  so I have now got the spruce and moss and will get going at the weekend.

Easy dinner - poached haddock and egg, with saute potatoes and veg - OH washing up while I am typing this.  Good division of labour in our house.
