Cats and Dogs

A moment of sunshine in an otherwise dull and breezy day. The wind has blown most of the leaves off the trees but the lingering golden oak leaves shimmered in the bright light.

I’ve been on dog walking duty as Andy’s succumbed to ‘the cold’ which is doing the rounds. We walked in the muddy field so Merlin could have a run after several days of street walks. It was a such pleasure to be amongst the grasses and trees again.

Our neighbours are away skiing for the week so we’re now on cat care duties too. They are both friendly cats but they know Andy better than myself so I was pleased when they came running to see me this morning and ate well when I gave them breakfast.
