Lake District Day 2 - Kelly Hall Tarn

We started the day at Ashness Bridge, where we witnessed some lovely early morning light on Skiddaw. I have uploaded a photo of this as one of the extras. We drove back to our home, had breakfast and we then decided on the location for sunset: Kelly Hall Tarn. Well, in fact we wanted to visit Tewet Tarn first, but even though we did have the exact location of the tarn, we did not bring our book describing how to get there. We lost too much time and decided to drive back, get our book and then directly go to Kelly Hall Tarn.

At the tarn, we had to wait a bit for the clouds to start rolling through the scene. Once that happened and the light kicked off, we had a blast capturing the tarn from every possible angle. The main image is one of many and I have included two more as extras.

What a wonderful day in the Lake District this has been!
