Morning dove

I put a new, smaller bird feeder out this morning, hoping to discourage the pigeons and morning doves. One morning dove will fit in it, I doubt that it will hold 2 of them. I didn't see the pigeons around today, maybe they checked it out while I was out this morning and decided it wasn't worth coming back to.

I need to get some work done on my truck, to stop an oil leak. I took it to one shop today to get a second quote. I already had one from the shop that I have been using, but I have not been happy with them for the past year. It will take them a day or a day and a half to do the work, so I scheduled it for January 7th. Tonight I found out that the merchandising jobs start on January 6th. I am hoping to borrow Marilyn's car for a day.

Plans for Saturday have been postponed till Sunday. We have a snowfall warning out, 15 - 30 cm of snow with the possibility of freezing rain and ice pellets from Friday night into Saturday. It looks like it will be a white Christmas after all.
