Tansy Beetle
It was a very wet and cool morning. TT and I were not quite dressed for the weather, but we were ok for a few hours in the car. We left Evesham and continued our journey north. Our destination was York.
We made good progress, then got held up by roadworks near York. We eventually got past and made our way into York, which was unbelievably slow. I eventually got out and walked the rest of the way to TT’s mum’s flat, and I got there well before him!
TT’s sister was visiting, but was about to leave, but she hung around for a wee while to see us.
Later in the afternoon TT and I went out for a walk, around and about. We picked up some sandwiches and had a very late lunch in what used to be a very peaceful garden.
In the evening we all went out for dinner with TT’s youngest brother. He had booked a Polish restaurant, which was very nice. It was. Dry filling. I had been eyeing up some lovely looking cakes, but alas no one had any room for a pudding. We stopped off at a pub near to where TT’s mum lives for a couple of drinks. TT bought me a rhubarb cider which was awful!! We were all exhausted when we got home.
There is a trail of beetles around York. This is the tansy beetle which was near the Millennium Bridge. The extras show some of the detail.
