The Fly

The dominant creatures in my garden this morning are the flying ones - and sadly, I don't mean butterflies.

Hoverflies and flies of other sorts abound.
No ladybirds

Lots of weeds (that I must get to tomorrow) It's amazing how they grow so forcefully while you're away.

I can't believe that it's the first game of the football season this afternoon ! Does that mean that we're rushing headlong towards winter ?

Nottingham Forest. What will Billy's boys do this season? Will it be as frustrating and crazy as last season? Promotion ? You never know........
