OFF to the RACES
Was this ever my lucky day!! Our plan for today was a trip to Ohio, and back, to visit our son and daughter-in-law – not really any time (or subject matter) for blipping. After a couple hours of driving, we no more than took the highway exit to their town when a horse trailer pulled up next to us at the traffic light. Out popped the pretty head of this racehorse. Lucky for me, I had my camera handy and was able to snap a couple shots before the light changed. And Voila, I had my blip for today. :-)
I guessed this is a racehorse because a sulky was attached to the back of the horse trailer. (A sulky is a seat on a wide bar between two wheels for the driver to ride behind the horse, with two long poles that attach to a harness on the horse’s sides. It’s used in harness racing, and the horses are trotters or pacers.)
BTW: We did see one bird (the first one) on the new bird feeder this morning. They found it!! So now I have high hopes that I’ll have a few more blipable subjects in the near future.
