Macbeth

This afternoon we went to a live streaming of Macbeth from the Donnar theatre in London, the first for many months.
There are   stellar performances by David Tennant  and Cush Jumbo . It’s a long time since we have seen a live performance, albeit streamed from London and I had forgotten how powerful it is.
 
If there is a moral to Shakespeare ‘s tragedy it is do not be tempted to do bad things to gain power.  It resonates uncomfortably with our world today when so many dictators are doing just that.
