We visit the house of Pettson and Findus (2)

A while back we discovered this display, this world, inside the musuem in Sundsvall. It is all based on a recreation of the world in the children's books by Sven Nordqvist, about Pettson (an old farmer) and Findus (a cat).
These are the second set of small children we've taken there and like the first pair they loved it. Although it's free you have to book tickets and a session lasts only an hour. Both Florence and Eric were a bit reluctant to leave and we'd got in a bit early so they had a bit over an hour. There are many things to see and do and the whole area seems to trigger the kids imagination. Here Eric is dressed as the old man and is dancing around! The time restriction is fair enough because all the sessions today were totally booked and it does mean there is room for all the kids to play without it being crowded. In between sessions the staff have to race around finding things and replacing them where they should be! Who knows where a small child will hide an egg, or a cloth "pancake", or Pettson's hat?
