Growth old and new
I love the way that the new buds on our tree hydrangea are growing among the skeletal remains of last year's flowers (although I do wonder whether I should have cut back the flowers in the autumn?)
Wednesday followed its usual patten of exercise in the morning, then a quiet afternoon. While Mr hazelh was at Jack's house (ordering a new computer for him, helping transfer photos from his new camera into Google photos, and showing him how to create an illustrated bird report on his recent trip to Morocco), I returned to... Mummy hazelh admin! This included a phone call with the auctioneer, updating records, and writing a long email to my middle sister.
I really want to get back to writing my journal article. Perhaps I will have some time for this tomorrow?
As I type this, Mr hazelh is busy cooking our supper. The risotto smells delicious.
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; aquafit class; swim (20 lengths); strength training class; walking (11,392 steps).
