The Langdales
Another trip out before breakfast. I was hoping for some mist or fog, but a slight breeze and dry air conditions prevented anything more atmospheric. I Appreciated how the Langdale Pikes were throwing their shadow onto Boewfell in the distance.
After breakfast we headed to Keswick and took a cruise around the lake, something we'd never done before. We stepped off at Lodore Falls to have a look, but were somewhat underwhelmed by the trickle coming down.
We then walked across the Chinese bridge and through Brandlehow, picking up the cruiser at the next stop. A walk through the shops and then return to the hotel.
In the evening we visited the Yan, up the road to Dunmail Raise, for dinner. it was a thoroughly enjoyable meal.
