Not my picture and not taken today but I get to drive past it and I love it because it is so incredibly silly and campy. 

The redwoods (?) are in bloom and splashing purple everywhere. The dogwoods are in bloom. Tulips are in bloom. It is gorgeous in the DC area in Spring. 

A man who works as a consultant anaesthetist at the University Hospital Southampton completed a big trip. He’s Russian. His wife and mother are Ukrainian. He was horrified when Russian re-invaded Ukraine. He started volunteering, making contacts, and driving medical equipment over to Ukraine and then set up a charity. He named a 20 foot rowboat Happy Socks and rowed across the Atlantic because he’s completely bonkers and to raise money for Ukraine. He is even skinnier now.
